Summer League 2011 Bournville A - Birmingham Division 1:

Bournville A have had a very enjoyable Summer season and been rather successful. They finish the season as Runners Up of Division 1, which gives them something to aim for next season. The squad was made up of players from Bournville Winter teams - Regional, 1sts and 2nds. In additional to our GS who joins us every Summer but doesn't play for Bournville during the Winter season. We look forward to next Summer, reforming and playing some competitive netball in some warm weather!!

Summer League 2011 Bournville B - Birmingham Division 3:

Bournville B began the Summer with ambition and drive and were sure that we would have a successful and enjoyable season. We were pleased with our form as we were promoted last year and this was our first season playing in Birmingham Summer league, Division 3. Our squad was made up of Bournville players from Bournville Winter teams - 2nd, 3rds, 4ths and 5ths. We are pleased to report that we finished in the middle of the division and look forward to returning next Summer to improve on this.

Redditch Summer League 2011

Bournville's Redditch squad were brought back together for the Summer 2011 season. The “old retired” plus the sprinkling of youngsters had a really good season finishing as Runners Up in Division 2 – a brilliant performance. I guess this means we will now be promoted to Division 1 where we will meet the likes of Ryland – so the “Old-retired” may well retire again while looking for a bigger sprinkling of youngsters
