This year's tournament was held on Sunday 9th September. Again fantastic weather, once again, together with a great days netball and fundraising.. This year, the trophy was won by BAI2, beating Bournville 1 in the final.
The Lyn Cain Plate was won by Hollyfields, who triumphed against Leapoole.
“The Joan Annie Lacey Trophy” for the player of the tournament as voted for by umpires was won by Vicky Smith of Bournville 1.
As a result of the excellent support we receive every year we were delighted to raise a brilliant £3,500 for Cancer Research UK bringing our total fundraising through the Lyn Cain Trophy since 1995 to £37,150. A fantastic achievement! Lyn's parents again came up to present the cheque to Karen Doyle, Senior Research Nurse from Cancer Research UK.
